Pacific Pride Foundation is proud to bring you Pride Movie Night – featuring The Rocky Horror Picture Show at Elings Park. This starlit evening will kick off at 6:00pm in the charming Singleton Pavilion with Halloween beats, stunning drag performances, and much more! Costumes are encouraged. This is an 18+ event. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: Tickets: Online ticket sales end at 11:30pm on Thursday, 10/17. Bring your ID to the event! Dogs/Pets: We love our furry friends, but this is a *NO DOGS* event. We appreciate your understanding. Service dogs wearing a service vest are allowed. Food: El Camino Catering Food Truck will be onsite with food for purchase from 6:30-10pm. Cash & credit cards are accepted. You are also welcome to bring your own picnic basket if you prefer. Beverages: Hot and cold refreshments will be available for purchase. Alcohol is permitted within Elings Park while attending the film screening, however we reserve the right to ask attendees to leave for disruptive behavior. Parking: Limited parking is available onsite for $5 on a first come first serve basis. Cash or credit cards are accepted.PPF & Elings Park will not be responsible for the safety of any cars left overnight. Ride-share is encouraged. Seating: The Rocky Horror screening will be held outdoors, under the stars, at the Singleton Pavilion inside Elings Park. Bring blankets, pillows or low chairs that have a seat that rests on the ground with a low back. Tall chairs are NOT allowed. The 2024 Santa Barbara Fly-In for Female, Trans, and Non-Binary Pilots will take place at Elings Park in Santa Barbara from November 8th to November 10th. This event, supported by the Santa Barbara Soaring Association and USHPA, welcomes female, trans, and non-binary pilots of all skill levels. Participants can expect a weekend of flying, mentorship, and community building in the beautiful Santa Barbara area. The focus will be on creating an inclusive space where women and non-binary identifying pilots can learn, grow, and push their boundaries in paragliding. With mentors specializing in both paragliding and hang gliding, attendees can look forward to flying, learning, and connecting with fellow pilots. The event will feature daily briefings, mentorship sessions, coordinated rides to launch sites, and a Friday night social event. Tickets, priced between $0 and $175, include access to a private group chat, daily briefings, mentorship sessions, event swag, and entry to the Friday night party. Additionally, volunteers are needed to support the event and can participate in the Saturday night party as a token of appreciation.

Bellosguardo is thrilled to host a Sogetsu Ikebana demonstration by Kaz Yokou Kitajima. Huguette Clark, the last owner of Bellosguardo, was extremely fond of all things Japanese. This can be seen in both her paintings and her collection of “hina” dolls and elaborate custom-made models of Japanese homes and castles. Along with an open house, complimentary sushi bar hors d'oeuvres, wine, sake, and beer will be served. Kaz Yokou Kitajima is celebrating more than 50 years as a Sogetsu Ikebana master, landscape designer, and artist. His themes include disassembly and rearranging; compositions using unconventional materials; arrangements contrasting straight and curved lines. IMPORTANT INFORMATION There is no pedestrian access to Bellosguardo. All guests must arrive via a personal vehicle or rideshare/taxi/car service. Gates open at 3:00 p.m., please do not arrive early or enter the property without approval of Bellosguardo staff. All personal vehicles will be valet parked on property.
