Rainbow water guns wielded by young women cross paths with elders carrying traditional silver bowls, all smiling before being swept into whirlwinds of flying flour and water. Neon water balloons arc across the sky as century-old shophouses with ornate doorways become perfect cover, while surprise attacks may come from travel companions who just shared mango sticky rice. 

 This aquatic feast rages from dawn till the stars emerge. As giant water cannons roar at Democracy Monument Square, blessing ceremonies by the Grand Palace moat release wisps of fragrant smoke. As night falls, Silom Road's water gun symphony reaches its crescendo, while beneath lantern-lit night markets along the river, drenched revelers exchange battle stories over aromatic tom yum kung. 

 From April 13-16, 2025, this timeless celebration unfolds once more.
