My friend and I went to Shanghai for a trip two months ago. We came to the Bund to take photos and check in. We chose to come in the afternoon or late evening. We could see both daytime and nighttime scenery. It was very beautiful and worth recommending.
Standing by the Huangpu River, watching the Oriental Pearl Tower on the other side light up, the brilliance of the lights in the big city was very concrete! The wind is very strong by the river, so you should take good warm-up measures when you come here in cold weather.

The Shanghai City Historical Development Exhibition Hall in the tower is an unexpected joy. The waxworks and scene models of the old Shanghai style vividly restore the city changes. However, the queue time for holidays is long, and it is recommended to travel on staggered peaks or buy tickets in advance. Although the revolving restaurant can enjoy the scenery while dining, the price is average, and the joint ticket can be selected according to demand. Overall, the Oriental Pearl is a must-check-in landmark for feeling the charm of Shanghai. It is worth a visit regardless of the view or cultural experience.
