Get set for an unforgettable weekend of trail riding at the 2024 Colorado High School Girls Shred Camp in Colorado Springs. High school girls looking to enhance their MTB racing skills this summer can participate in this FREE 2-day camp. Led by Coach Jenny Smith, attendees will receive expert guidance on line selection, body positioning, and overall bike confidence. Coach Molly Murrow will provide insights at the SRAM Development Center on optimizing suspension for individual riding styles. Participants will also have the chance to win FREE entries into the Pikes Peak APEX, a 3-day race event valued at $345. The Pikes Peak APEX offers a unique stage race format where riders tackle three challenging stages over consecutive days, perfect for honing race skills and building endurance. The camp schedule includes skills workshops, course previews, and bike games at various scenic locations in Colorado Springs. Make sure to bring necessary gear such as a clean and functional MTB, protective equipment, hydration, and riding clothes for the 2-day event on May 4th and May 5th.
