The Boneshakers The iconic band lead by world-renowned guitarist Randy Jacobs of Was (Not Was). The Boneshakers and members have performed and recorded with Bonnie Raitt (It was Bonnie who inadvertently gave them their name “Boneshakers” while they were working on her “Longing In Our Hearts” CD), BB King, Buddy Guy, Seal, Keb Mo, Gov't Mule, Elton John, Bootsy Collins, Tears For Fears, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Iggy Pop, Bobby Rush, Charlie Musselwhite, Dave Koz, and Mindi Abair...just to name a few. The powerful band celebrates over 30 years of no-holds-barred funk, soul, and roots music that marries the sounds and spirits of Detroit Rock City, Memphis, and Muscle Shoals. Their latest album Live To Be This dropped on Gulf Coast Records in July 2025 and debuted at #9 on Billboard Top Blues Albums, featuring special guests Bobby Rush, Charlie Musselwhite, Coco Montoya, Don Was, Jimmy Carpenter, and more. It also topped Blues radio charts in the UK, France, and Germany. “The Boneshakers are a soulful tour de force in the way they seem to summon the very essence of R&B and the blues. A captivating live act.” - Big City Rhythm & Blues “A declaration of love to vintage roots, Detroit funk, Memphis soul, and Muscle Shoals R&B. No slick production, just raw, human expression.’ - Bluestown Music (The Netherlands) “There is funk and there is FONK, and this release is loaded with the latter, not to mention soul, blues and groove.” - Music News Information Source: Live at Hub City Vinyl | eventbrite

Luke Bulla - Nashville Award Winning Bluegrass and Americana Fiddle | Live At Hub City Vinyl

Nov 9, 2025 (UTC-4)
Hagerstown
Concerts
Luke Bulla has been singing and playing music most of his life. Touring with and singing in his family band from age four, Luke took up the fiddle at seven. Over the course of the next few years, he won the National Fiddle Contest (in Weiser, Idaho) six times in his respective age categories. His seventh win came in the Grand Champion division at age sixteen, making him the youngest to have earned the title at the time. Entering Nashville’s Grand Master Fiddle Championship at age ten, Luke distinguished himself by being the youngest person to have made the top ten. In addition to violin, Luke plays guitar and mandolin, and sings and writes songs. In the spring of 1999, Luke moved to Nashville to establish himself as a full time musician. He spent his early years in Tennessee playing fiddle in Ricky Skaggs’ band, Kentucky Thunder, which earned him his first Grammy Award. Following the Skaggs stint, he became a member of the John Cowan Band. More recently Luke has performed and/or recorded with Brandi Carlile, Jim Lauderdale, Darrell Scott, Alison Krauss, Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, Edgar Meyer, Bela Fleck, Bryan Sutton, Kevin Costner & Modern West, Russ Barenberg Trio, Shawn Colvin, Tony Rice, Chris Thile, Peter Rowan, Patty Griffin, Glen Phillips, Rodney Crowell, and Earl Scruggs, to name a few. Luke was also a perennial instructor at Mark O’Connor’s fiddle camps in his early Nashville years. With his long-time friend Casey Driessen, Luke founded the band Wisechild, which toured briefly with John Mayer and Counting Crows. He also had a band collaboration, W.P.A. (Works Progress Administration), which included members Sean Watkins (Nickel Creek, Fiction Family), Glen Phillips (Toad The Wet Sprocket), Sara Watkins (Nickel Creek, I’m With Her), Benmont Tench (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers), Pete Thomas (Elvis Costello and the Imposters, The Attractions, Los Lobos), Greg Leisz (Joni Mitchell, Wilco, Sheryl Crow, Beck), and Davey Faragher (Elvis Costello and the Imposters, Cracker). In 2009, Luke released a solo EP featuring Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, Bela Fleck, Aoife O’Donovan and more. That same year, Lyle Lovett asked Luke to join his Large Band, with whom he toured full time until 2023. In 2015 Luke co-founded a Bluegrass/Americana record label, Pure Music | Nashville , with music and business executive John L. Heithaus. Luke’s LP, Who Loves You Better , was released by the label in May of 2016. Recorded at Zac Brown’s studio, Southern Ground Nashville, the LP was produced by Grammy winner Bryan Sutton. Who Loves You Better showcases featured vocal performances by Sharon & Cheryl White, Maura O’Connell, Lee Ann Womack, and Sara Jarosz, complemented by a veritable A-List of Americana’s finest musicians, including: Jerry Douglas, Noam Pikelny, Sam Bush, John Cowan, Sam Grisman, Bryan Sutton and more. Currently Luke is happy to be touring again and is working on a new EP. Information Source: Live at Hub City Vinyl | eventbrite

All Good Presents... East Nash Grass + AJ Lee & Blue Summit Friday, November 14, 2025 Union Craft Brewing (Indoors) Baltimore, MD Bluegrass is hot, and East Nash Grass and AJ Lee & Blue Summit are two of the hottest collections of young bluegrass talent you'll find anywhere in America. Part of bluegrass' fourth wave, these are musicians who've grown up at the feet of the bluegrass masters, but see the genre through a wider lens, incorporating not just Americana and stringband sensibilities, but rock, pop, R&B, and other flavors that take their music far beyond traditional bluegrass fare, without losing the essence of what gives bluegrass its heart. Best of all, when you put two groups like this together on the road, you can be sure they'll cook up something special for every show — musicians of this caliber just can't help but be inspired by each other. Might as well start getting excited now.  allgoodpresentslivemusic.com Information Source: All Good Presents | eventbrite

ANCIIENTS "Somewhere between sheer, apocalyptic heaviness and precise riffing, lays otherworldly ANCIIENTS—a Vancouver-based rock juggernaut forging crushing heavy metal evocative of veterans High on Fire and contemporary sonic craftsmen, Opeth. ANCIIENTS have combined fuck-off-huge chords with mind-altering riffage that takes you on an unfamiliar trip." THE NIGHTHAWKS Mark Wenner: Vocals, Harmonica Mark Stutso: Drums, Vocals Sol Roots: Bass, Vocals Zach Sweeney: Guitar, Vocals The Nighthawks was an idea in Mark Wenner's brain long before he was able to implement it. The musical product of pre-1958 radio in Washington, D.C., he did not know there were rules against mixing blues, R&B, honky-tonk country, doo-wop, gospel and rockabilly into one delicious stew. In 1972, Mark, then 23, returned to his hometown after a New York City band apprenticeship eager to start a real, work-every-night band based on American roots music. He found a receptive local scene. Washington has long been a musical melting-pot of the kind that made Memphis the source point for the evolution of American music in the second half of the 20th century. It just never had a Stax or Sun record label to tell the world. As the city exploded with an influx of people from all the surrounding states during the Great Depression and World War II, Washington became a hotbed of musical cross-fertilization. When Bill Haley first brought his wacky Pennsylvania mix of hillbilly music and rhythm and blues to D.C. in 1952, people got it. And kids like Mark found the Howard Theater – now recently restored and part of the historic top tier of the Chitlin' Circuit that included Baltimore’s Royal, Chicago’s Regal and New York’s Apollo – just a 25-cent bus ride away from the suburbs. The original Nighthawks lineup solidified in mid-1974. Bringing together frontmen Mark Wenner and the young Jimmy Thackery with a veteran rhythm section, Jan Zukowski on bass and Pete Ragusa on drums, the quartet ruled the highways and honky-tonks until Jimmy’s departure in 1986 to pursue a solo career. The band opened many doors and forged many touring routes for their contemporaries, including the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Robert Cray, and played with as many Blues and Rockabilly legends as they could. They opened show after show for Muddy Waters, James Cotton and Carl Perkins, and backed up and recorded with John Hammond and Pinetop Perkins. The current lineup, consisting of Wenner, Mark Sutso, Sol Roots, and Zach Sweeney, brings decades of varied experience to the stage and studio. Playing classics from past eras of the band as well as new material with ease, the Nighthawks sound better than ever... see them at Live at Hub City Vinyl this fall and experience a night you'll never forget.
