Join Greater Union County for the much-anticipated GUCC Jack & Jill Chapter Ski Day taking place on January 27, 2024, at the stunning Mountain Creek Resort in Vernon Township, NJ. Additionally, all payments for the event must be made by January 5th in order to guarantee your participation. For those who require lift tickets and ski rentals, rest assured that they will be valid for the entire day. Please note that Mountain Creek Resort mandates an all-access pack for lessons, even if you have your own skis. The price for a lift ticket and lesson without rentals remains the same. It's important to be aware that lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you plan on bringing children to the event, please be sure to book separately and directly with Mountain Creek's Kids Kamp. This ensures that your little ones have an amazing time on the slopes. For those experiencing skiing for the first time or looking for helpful hints, Costco currently offers a great selection of youth and adult ski clothes at affordable prices. Remember to dress in multiple layers, particularly for children, and invest in good-quality ski socks as they are essential when using rental boots. Additionally, all individuals under the age of 17 are required to wear a helmet on the mountain, in accordance with NJ State Law. If you plan to rent a helmet, it is advisable to bring bandanas or a hair scarf.
