Experience the latest printmaking exhibition, Carved Impressions, at the Denver Art Walk on February 2nd! Access Gallery is thrilled to present Carved Impressions, showcasing new printmaking works by talented Access Gallery artists. In the fall of 2023, artist Victoria Adams-Kotsch collaborated with Access artists to explore a variety of printmaking processes, including gel plate monotypes, polystyrene tile printing, monotypes on plexiglass, letterpress, linocut reduction printing, jigsaw linocut, and multi-block linocut techniques. The resulting artworks delve into a diverse range of subjects, inviting viewers to see nature through the artists' perspectives, featuring flora and fauna. Furthermore, the exhibition contemplates the human condition through depictions of fashion, solitary objects, and gender non-conformity. Join us to appreciate the remarkable works by participating artists Allie Gestner, Blossom, Brittany Murdock, Enchanted Dichotomy, Erik Hoy, Heather H., Rebecca Petty, and Skylar K. The teaching artist, Victoria Adams-Kotsch, has nurtured and guided these talented individuals in their artistic journey. Don't miss the opportunity to attend Carved Impressions at the First Friday Art Walk. It is a free event held at Access Gallery located at 909 Santa Fe Drive, Denver, CO 80204. Mark your calendars for March 1st, 2024, and immerse yourself in this captivating display of printmaking artistry.
