Craft Lake City Workshop: Gelli Plate Printmaking Join us for a thrilling adventure of gelli plate printing at Millcreek Common with local artist and printmaker Shelby Pence of ShelbyARTifacts! In this workshop, Shelby will teach you the engaging, trendy process of monotype printmaking using gelli plates, acrylic paint & other fun materials! You'll learn about texture, color, stencils and layering, then get the chance to experiment and create one-of-a-kind prints to hang in your house, cut up for a collage, bind into a journal or gift to a loved one! Our 22nd season begins with L'Automne, an intimate evening in our IB Theatre. The program features our pre-professional Company dancers in classical ballet excerpts from Giselle and Coppelia with special guest artists IB Alumni Logan Acker and Aiden Moss (appearing courtesy of Ballet San Antonio), an excerpt from La Bayadere, a contemporary ballet To Mother With Love choreographed by IB Alumni and former faculty member Juliana Jordan, and a brand new piece choreographed by Michael McCrary. The IB Trainees will also perform The Circles All Around Us based on the book by Brad Montague, choreographed by Josha Williams. It will be a diverse and exciting program!
