The film experiments with an ’autistic camera’ or 'autistic gaze' and actively resists neurotypical ways of storytelling: “I’ve always been drawn to films which are very nonlinear and have these different puzzle pieces that come together. That’s just how my brain works, and I think it was the same for the other collective members as well.” Georgia Bradburn This screening will take place in the studio space of Project Art Works, one of the locations for the film, with high ambient light levels and the option to move around the space throughout the film. Project Art Works studios provide the conditions for a broad range of autonomous and collaborative practices with neurodivergent artists, who take part on their own terms. Neurodiversity Film Festivalis a celebration of autism and neurodiversity on screen, making visible the characters and stories that are often invisible in contemporary mainstream cinema. Presented by autistic and neurodivergent creatives and curators, we bring you a weekend of films showcasing autistic and neurodiverse film characters and narratives. Developed In partnership with Autism Spectrum, Eggtooth, AMAZE, Project Art Works, The Roebuck Centre and Oska Bright Film Festival, and made possible with funding from the BFI and National Lottery. All screenings are relaxed and £10 double-ticket price available. A relaxed screening is where people can watch a film in a relaxed environment. GET MARATHON READY We know that the long run in a marathon training block can be daunting. That’s why we have teamed up with London’s top running clubs to takeover the long-run and make it an experience to remember! Designed to help runners tackle the challenge with confidence we will host a series of 32km guided runs through the city. Each run tailored to a different pace, ensuring every runner finds their perfect fit. The finish line? The High Point with PUMA, an immersive recovery and recharge event, complete with ice baths, nutrition, a live DJ, and the chance to connect with fellow runners. Can't make the run? Details: April 17th - 6:30 to 8 p.Pennsylvania Convention CenterOpen to any 8th grade and High School age female player!NCAA, NAIA and Junior Colleges attending.Player Information Packet sent to EVERY school in PA, NJ, MD, DE, CT, VA and NY!25+ Collegiate programs in attendance in 2024!!! Volleyball players will be divided by position and identified by graduation year to allow attending college coaches to efficiently evaluate them. Multiple courts will be used at the Pennsylvania CC, with each court having a court coach , to allow players to showcase their skills sets to the college coaches and on the video stream. The court coaches will put the players through volleyball drills within their specific positions, along with combining positions to illustrate group skill sets. There will be a Combine Update and Recruiting Education Session for Parents provided by a 20 year College Volleyball head coach, while the players are engaged in the Combine! Parents are welcome at check in and the PACC but are not allowed into the Combine, per the request of the college coaches - This allows the players to focus on skills and the college coaches to focus on evaluations.
