Join the "Learn to maintain your bike for free - intermediate" workshop at Sandgate Second Lagoon Reserve, located at 160 Brighton Road, Sandgate, QLD 4017. This workshop is designed for individuals with a basic understanding of bike maintenance who are eager to enhance their skills. Participants will learn essential tasks including replacing brake blocks, adjusting gears, and tightening cables. Please note, if you are unfamiliar with bike maintenance basics, we recommend attending one of our basic courses before joining this intermediate workshop. The event is part of the Council’s Cycling Brisbane program, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable living. Suitable for individuals aged 12 and above, with children aged 12-15 requiring adult supervision. The workshop is free of charge, all you need to bring is your bicycle, a bike multi-tool or a set of allen keys, a screwdriver, and any specific axle or brake tools your bike may need.
