Explore the world of mosaic felted art at the upcoming workshop titled "Mosaic Felted Art: Scarf" in Tanilba Bay. Led by experienced facilitator, Denise Hill, this workshop is designed for both beginners and intermediate learners. Participants will have the opportunity to acquire new skills and techniques in creating vibrant scarves using an assortment of high-quality fibers, silks, and embellishments.
During the workshop, each attendee will receive personalized attention and guidance while working on their colorful mosaic felted scarf. To ensure a smooth experience, participants are kindly asked to bring along necessary items such as old towels, plastic bags, bubble wrap, and an apron. All materials including fibers, silk fabric, and embellishments will be provided, with students advised to inform the workshop coordinator, Sue Skidmore, about their color preferences in advance.
As the workshop involves a significant amount of standing and rolling, sensible footwear is recommended. Additionally, participants are encouraged to bring any required medication and their own lunch for the day-long session. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided to keep everyone refreshed and energized throughout the workshop. Mark your calendars for May 18, 2024, at Tanilba Foreshore Hall for this engaging and creative event.
