The car is in excellent condition, only a few tens of thousands of kilometers on it. It's powerful, easy to operate, and provides a great driving experience. Picking up and returning the car in a different location was very convenient, and the service staff were all very friendly. I would definitely go on a self-driving tour in Thailand again in the future.

The engine is powerful, but the car is a bit old, the steering wheel is a little heavy, and the tint on both sides of the windshield is bubbly, slightly affecting the driver's visibility. Picking up the car is very convenient; it's right outside Gate 7. Both pick-up and return are done through Gate 7. There's no reversing camera, and it doesn't even have parking sensors. The car interior wasn't very clean when I picked it up.

Overall, it was good, simple and clear. The counter staff were helpful, although the staff at the car pickup area seemed a bit rushed. Otherwise, there were no problems. Driving in Thailand is generally smooth outside of Bangkok city center, but it gets extremely congested within the city.

The car rental company was great, with a friendly and attentive attitude, and the vehicles were new and clean. However, the insurance I bought online from a domestic insurance company was a huge hassle; the claims process was lengthy and complicated. I suggest not buying insurance online, but buying it directly from the rental company. This way, claims are easier and you won't have to go through all that trouble.

This was my first time traveling abroad and also my first time renting a car overseas. The owner was great, and the Chinese-speaking customer service representative (probably the owner) was very polite and communication was smooth. There's also a car rental counter at Terminal 2, so you can book with confidence.
