They even registered a minibus at the airport to pick me up, the only renter arriving at that time. The rental location is less than ten minutes from the airport. In the car, the owners patiently explained the details of driving in Japan, giving me confidence for my upcoming road trip. At the pick-up point, the owners, concerned I might be cold, proactively helped me with all the paperwork. Their procedures were surprisingly simple compared to companies like Toyota Rent a Car; I didn't need to fill out any forms myself, which saved me a lot of trouble. After handing over the car and keys, the owners didn't leave immediately but stayed by the car with me. Later, I realized I didn't know how to set up the Bluetooth, and the owners patiently helped me for over ten minutes until I fully understood. The car itself was fantastic—very new, a beautiful color, and the owner even replaced the tires with excellent ones. In the heavy snow of Hokkaido, when I was in a rush, I saw cars ahead of me skidding on corners at the same speed, but this car navigated smoothly, giving me peace of mind throughout the drive. On the last day of returning the car, I suddenly decided to buy snowboards, which meant I needed to check them in at the airport early, making time a bit tight and potentially preventing me from returning the car. I felt their human touch and warm service truly appreciated.
