We got a new car with 300 kilometers on it, a Nissan JACK model.
The deposit was around 220 euros, which I thought was reasonable. They didn't try to sell us insurance, and we had to return the car early because Google Navigation was wrong and we had to drive around twice before we found the right route. Luckily, we had plenty of time and gas.
When we returned the car, the guy said our windshield wipers were broken, which was impossible because it was raining the day we returned the car, and we had been using them all the way. It turned out he had pulled the wipers all the way down, and they wouldn't work. We adjusted them ourselves, and it was a close call. We received an email confirming everything was OK. Be careful when renting a car; there are scams everywhere. This has nothing to do with Ctrip. Some rental companies are just bad people, and they're just scoundrels and shameless.
