I've rented cars with Avis many times before and always had great experiences. This time, I used Budget, but there were some issues with check-in and pickup. After much arguing, I ended up driving the Corolla I'd originally reserved. The car was very easy to drive and had a great feel. Given the frustrations I'd had picking up the car, I was worried about another strange situation when returning it. To my surprise, the return went smoothly. When I printed the receipt, I met a very professional and responsible manager. After hearing about my pickup experience, she carefully checked the computer records and gave me a free day, making up for the frustration I'd had. I'm grateful for her fair, professional, and high-quality customer service. Avis and Budget are two separate brands, and this manager has restored my confidence and trust in Avis. I'll continue to rent with Avis in the future.
