Nice staff, huge rooms, good buffet breakfast, amazing value when staying in low season (Feb). Good location, about 10 min drive from the waterfront and the tombs. Shower temperature was variable. Some times of the day it was great, other times it never heated past lukewarm. There was a luggage room that you could use but it was unmanned and unlocked.

The hotel is older, but it deserves 3*. Good location, next to the station (buses to the airport), to the beach 10 minutes walk. To Kings Avenue Mall about 2 km. Breakfast is quite good, the same every day, but it still has something to choose from.

The hotel is a little outdated than other 4 star hotels. The room is old too makes me feel like a dormitory. But the hotel has all amenities you need. I think it’s a good place for family but not solo travelers.

We visited the guest house as 3 couples. The place is cute and has a nice inner courtyard where you can have breakfast or lunch/dinner. The first issue was clear straight away: one room we booked was not the same as the one that was given to us. This happened because we didn't pay beforehand the booking for that specific room, nonetheless it is really unprofessional to give away a room that was booked only because it wasn't paid. Secondly our friend found a stain on the bed. The management replaced the sheets and offered them a complimentary wine glass. The positive sides of the place are the central location, the nice atmosphere and the big shower with a nice water pressure... when there is water. In fact the last day the whole area had a problem with water, and of course this cannot be accounted to the hotel. Nonetheless the management did nothing to reduce the disturbance created by this situation. We had a water bottle to wash our teeth and be able to do the minimum self-care before and after bedtime and it was charged to us 3 euros. When we went to pay we were expecting some sort of compensation - for example free breakfast or similar but even the water we had to buy was charged. The host gave us a piece of paper stating that next time we can have a free night stayin, but there will be no next time.

Overall it was a nice hotel with a good pool and the food was tasty. We were bed and breakfast and decided to eat in the main restaurant (katoi) for one of the nights. On the large restaurant booking screens we saw there was an a la carte menu with lots of reasonably priced meals (circa €15) so planned to have this. When we turned up they said there was only the buffet available (€33) which was quite expensive, but we couldn’t go anywhere else in the hotel as it all needed pre booking. The staff had never heard of this menu. When we checked in with our toddler we were hoping there would be a cot in the room already. There wasn’t so we called for one, which we were told would be right there. An hour later nothing had turned up, so we rang again and were told it would be there after we returned from dinner. When we got back there was a bed being set up which was totally unsuitable. We had to ring again by which time it was ages after her bedtime.

Amenity was substantial. 1L It was very convenient with water, slippers, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and soap. There was also a refrigerator and tissue I was happy. You can also use air conditioning. The bus stop is within walking distance.

The Akamanthea Hotel in Polis Chrysochous is a real gem in Paphos. The location is excellent – close to all the main attractions, including the famous Yiannakis Beach, the charming Polis harbor, and the breathtaking Akamas Peninsula. The hotel offers beautiful views and a relaxing environment that makes it perfect for both couples and families. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the rooms and facilities are spotless, and the breakfast is tasty with plenty of options. The large, clean swimming pool with a pool bar is an ideal spot to spend the day under the sun. With its combination of comfort, cleanliness, great service, and reasonable prices, it truly is value for money. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway or a base to explore the area, this hotel is exactly what you need for a memorable holiday.

GGuest UserGreat hotel design and hardware with mediocre service: Spacious room, great location, beautiful compound and design (as long as you don’t get one of those side rooms that faces the back of a building or the carpark). Wide range of selection for breakfast. It’s weird that the carpark is a little further away and you’re supposed to call a number at the gate every time for them to open for you. They said it’s toll free but I doubt it’s free for an international line. I don’t know who would spend international calling rate to call the number as most people uses esim today. The way they challenged me and say “why don’t you just call” and insisted it was free just made me feel very disappointed. There’s also no refill of the room’s coffee station (it’s chargeable)- I guess it’s because they call themselves a suite/ service apartment. There were a few other examples of mediocre services: not deal breaker but could have been better. Overall I would say it is good value for money given the spacious and beautiful room, so simply don’t place too much emphasis and expectations on service then you’ll be fine.

HHONGMEIThe breakfast is rich. The hotel is close to the sea, and it's quite beautiful to watch the sunrise in the sea view room. It has convenient parking. It's suitable for trips of families, parents and children as well as couples. The coastal running track is behind the hotel, which is very convenient for morning exercises. A marine project service point is conveniently located nearby.

AAghiad Shaaban-KabakiboBreakfast super buffet everything delicious, and corresponds to the price-performance ratio, for dinner a restaurant VIVA CYPRUS is very RECOMMENDED nearby. Great location. In Paphos the buses are bad, please rent a car immediately, it's cheap 10-20 €/day... the taxis are expensive and they screw every pig... So please rent a car. Staff: I thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are the best... Always helpful and very human... My wife did not feel well during the holiday and went to the hospital. They allowed me to take breakfast to go for my wife and a delivery box prepared for this... That was really great. Cons : the hotel is a bit old and the facilities need to be updated but that's easily ignored when you have such a great friendly staff. Sauna against 7€ extra which is also disadvantageous in my opinion. So in a big goose the hotel is very good and I book there again and again 😁. Greetings from Chaban family

KkarietteThe room was a little outdated but the food really impressed us. It was always different and freshly made. It really impressed us. The staff was friendly and after some time, they recognized us. Even it was off season there was always entertainment in the evening and we could really stay at the property at night and enjoy our evening. It was very quiet in the evening even we had a pool view room facing the pool. We slept really we. What's also impressive is the clearness. It's really well maintained and daily cleaning service was also perfectly done. If you stay there, you have to do all inclusive. The food really makes everything perfect.

AAroundTheWorld356I had premium garden cabana with sea view. There is nothing premium about this cabana there is no garden and sea view is limited. Room are clean and service is good but rooms and hotel needs upgrade and maintenance ie. in my room floor was falling apart. Pool is very nice. Access to beach ONLY via few steps. On the beach you need to pay for sunbed and umbrella if you want to use it otherwise you can lay on the towel/sand. I was at the end of September and age average in this hotel was well above 65-70 so no young couples or families at ALL. Overpriced for the overall quality.

GGuest UserLoved the location. the staff were excellent, polite and genuine. A special mention goes out to Maria, front desk manager. She was humerous, and very knowledgeable of the area. She provided me with maps, and some background history of Cyprus, which i was very much appreciative for. My room was clean, The cleaning staff were very persistent in wanting to come and clean the room when we were still there, it was a little annoying, but i admired their dedication. the hotel is beautiful, Very much so an intimate setting. Definitely worth rebooking.
