You will be surprised with the deco in the villa. A lot of plant and nice deco in the villa itself just like enter a theme hotel. Room is clean and nice for the short trip in BM. A villa that worth to try which you will want to extend your stay here

Room is decently equipped and clean. For its affordable price, we can't expect too much. But 1 thing to comment, for rooms closer to the access to lift area, it can be very noisy, since the room's door is very much NOT noise insulated. So you will hear every guest talking on corridor. The closer the room to the lift, the much Guests' noise you will receive.

I stayed for 2 nights in Feb20 as I needed to attend a wake/funeral nearby. So my needs were rather basic - a clean bed (checked), clean shower (checked) and security (security). Located in a rather new development, it is a nice cosy hotel with 3 floors. The building was built for commercial purposes - like eateries, pubs, offices, and there were plenty of these nearby. The carpark is in the middle of the stretch of road between the 2 banks of buildings and it fills up very quickly. The things that I found lacking were: (1) only 1 power point in the whole room. Luckily, I brought a multi-plug charger. Clearly inadequate for modern lifestyle where you have more electrical appliances, like laptops, hair dryers. (2) No kettle or fridge (at least in Room 208). I can accept the lack of a fridge but no kettle to boil water was a surprise. Coupled with the fact there is only one convenience shop in the whole vicinity (and note it is not 24 hours), it is a major letdown. (3) The hot water in the bath takes too long to warm up, like after 5 minutes of water flowing (such a waste). In the long run, the high water wastage will add up. (4) the carpets in the corridors were stained and needed cleaning. It is a new hotel and the corridors is the first impression to all visitors. Overall, my needs for this trip were basic as I was hardly in the room, except to sleep and bathe, but the hotel can do better.

Convenient to get food with food court and many restaurants nearby. Customer service was terrible. Guest's flight was cancelled by airline due to bad weather, but room rate was charged to credit card even the proof from airline has been given and informed to hotel before check-in date. The charging happened few days after the cancellation. Walked-in to the hotel wanted to discuss about the issue but the front counter staff kept me waiting for half an hour without able to meet with the management staff in the end. I was asked to Whatsapp to the management staff but no proper reply was received as well. Calls and negotiations made with both Trip.com and hotel side but end up with the disappointing answer of ”we can't do anything”. A very very bad experience indeed.

The hotel is strategically located in Bukit Mertajam. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is clean with all the necessary basic amenities. Disposable toothbrush is even provided. It is a good hotel to stay just to bunk in for a good night sleep.
