The hotel appears quaint and cute but then there were too many shocking issues. I also feel like nothing has bene properly thought about. Some of the staff (cleaners, some of the wait staff) are extremely friendly and nice, but some are the complete opposite - rude - and they would dump food on the table without saying anything then run off. Here are some of the issues: The rooms are incredibly small. I assumed, being so far outside of St Tropez, that we would have space, but that is my fault for not checking - these rooms are smaller than city hotels and the bathrooms are also extremely extremely tiny. In the bathroom the door also opens outwards and the water leaks out causing a mess. There is a stentch of sewage around the property which you get whiffs of when you walk through it. There is no shower next to the sauna, or changing room in the spa, so youd have to walk back to your room after a sweaty sauna in your clothes to have your shower. The gym is absolutely crap - no water, no clean towels, only weights and 2 cardio machines. The food is horrendous - not only is the menu extremely limited (1 vegetarian tomato pasta available at lunch and 1 vegetarian risotto which was basically butter for dinner) - but the food quality in general was bad. For breakfast - it was like the eggs had just been under the lamp for the last 4 days. Def was not fresh. Not what you expect in France. None of the staff really informed us about the wine experience/wine tours/tasting so we didnt even end up doing it - but it would have been nice maybe. We also didnt ask - but it would be nice if the staff kind of informed us generally of what we were drinking/reception told us our options for tastings etc. On the last day somebody walked into my room without knocking whilst I was in bed. I had clarified that I would have a late checkout by 1 hour (to noon) and then the reception stated calling me asking me to pay a fee for a late checkout. Obviously I had to argue becuase it was just 1 hour and I had already pre clarified it. They didnt even apologise for walking into my room unannounced. They were also extermelyw weird about giving the room keys back. They asked me 5 times! The pathways are loose gravel/stone and you have to drag your bags through them to get to the rooms from the car park. On arrival the staff did help us after we asked them but the bags then took 1 hour to get to the rooms. On the way back we just dragged through through the dirt ourselves
